Hi! We’re Hannah and Tristan Hunsucker, owners of Hunziker Hounds LLC. Thank you for visiting our website! We created this space to share photos of our dogs, answer frequently asked questions, and give you a glimpse of who we are.

Our journey began in 2020 when we brought home our first Basset Hound, Moses. From the moment he entered our lives, we fell head over heels for the breed. Moses taught us what it means to be a Basset—from scent tracking to drooling, from stubbornness to endless cuddles, from howls to kisses. He embodied everything we love about the breed and inspired us to dive deeper into understanding genetics and breeding to bring more of these incredible hounds into the world.

In 2021, after a year of intense learning and planning, Hunziker Hounds was born. Now, in 2024, we’re proud to have our kennel nestled on a 26-acre farm in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. We specialize in breeding genetically tested, AKC-registered European Basset Hounds. Our program is built on a foundation of excellence, and we believe that breeding is not a hobby but a full-time job that requires a passionate commitment.
