  • Absolutely! We encourage you to come to our farm and meet the parents and the puppies. We believe in transparency and want you to feel confident in the health and temperament of the dogs you’re considering. 

  • Our puppies come with microchip + registration and a digital AKC application. 

  • Yes, all our breeding dogs and puppies are registered with the AKC. 

    When you adopt a puppy from us, we send you a digital copy of their AKC application so you can register them in your name - making you their legal owner! 

  • Our puppies are ready to leave the farm at 8 weeks of age. 

  • We require a nonrefundable $200 deposit to hold the puppy you choose, which is taken from what is due at pickup. 

  • Our preferred payment methods are PayPal, Venmo, cash, Cash App, and Zelle. However, we are flexible! Ask about our payment plans. 

  • We guarantee that all of our breeding Basset Hounds undergo comprehensive genetic testing to ensure they are free from hereditary diseases common to the breed. While we cannot guarantee that every puppy will be completely free of these traits, we take every precaution to ensure our litters are as genetically healthy as possible. We also vaccinate parents and puppies to prevent other common dog diseases, i.e., parvo, rabies, etc. 

  • We perform genetic testing with the help of PawPrint Genetics for the following conditions common to Basset Hounds as the AKC recommends. 

    Lafora Disease (also known as Myoclonus Epilepsy of Lafora, Progressive Myoclonus Epilepsy, PME)

    Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (Basset Hound Type)

    Also known as POAG.

    Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Disease, X-linked (Basset Hound Type)

    Also known as XSCID.

    Thrombopathia (Basset Hound Type)

    Also known as Autoimmune Thrombocytopenia, Hereditary Thrombopathy, Immune-Mediated Thrombocytopenia, Platelet Disorder, Thrombocytopathy, Thrombocytopenia.

    This testing ensures that our breeding dogs are free from these hereditary conditions, promoting the health and well-being of our puppies.

  • From birth, our puppies are exposed to humans to help them develop strong social bonds. Once they reach around two weeks old and have passed the most delicate stage, we introduce them to children and other pets, including cats, chickens, and ferrets. We also handle them frequently to ensure they develop well-rounded temperaments and are comfortable in various situations. 

  • We will always take back any puppy we’ve bred, no questions asked, even if it’s years down the road. Any dog from us has a home here. However, please note that we do not offer refunds.

  • Although we prefer families come to the farm to meet your puppy and their parents, we offer delivery on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out. I’m confident we can work something out.
